After Life
Taoism
is not concerned with an afterlife; indeed, Taoists refute the idea
of a God or a Heaven or an afterlife utterly. Lao Tse said in The
Tao Te Ching that humans are like "Straw dogs for the sacrifice"
meaning that no men have any special importance and will be born and
die without any prejudice nor sentient extra-terrestrial purpose.
This is all part of the natural cycle of life, which is in turn one
aspect
